NYC Department of Transportation’s Bike Commuting: WEST Midtown Manhattan to Brooklyn

Interested in bike commuting between Midtown Manhattan to Brooklyn? Join DOT for the first annual commute ride from WEST Midtown Manhattan, back to Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn, on a leisurely paced ride and experience commuting by bicycle. Ride marshals from DOT will escort you from Columbus Circle, Manhattan to Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn via on-street bike lanes, off-street greenways, and on the streets through different neighborhoods and traffic conditions. All skill levels welcome. Your bicycle should be in good working order. Helmet is required. Along the route, there will be various pick-up points for commuters in other neighborhoods.
