Mets fans -- Leave the traffic behind and bike to Shea for DOT's 5th annual bike to Shea Day! Join us for a 12 mile bike ride to see the Mets vs. the Cincinnati Reds in Shea Stadium's final year as Citi Field looms large in the distance. Ride marshals from DOT will escort you from Prospect Heights to Flushing via on-street bike lanes and off-street greenways at a leisurely pace. All skill levels welcome. Free bike parking near Stadium entrance will be provided for all cyclists along with the 2008 NYC Cycling Maps and other fun giveaways.
