Awesome Views Ride (Liberty State Park)Location: Loeb Boathouse in Central Park borough: Manhattan Staten Island NJ Description: We'll take the Staten Island Ferry to Staten Island and the Bayonne Bridge over to Bayonne, New Jersey. We'll stop for a picnic lunch in lovely Hudson County Park in Bayonne. Then we'll head over to Liberty State Park from which you'll get an awesome view of the Manhattan skyline. From there we'll ride over to Hoboken and catch the New York Waterway or PATH train back to Manhattan. Bring a good working bicycle with your tires inflated to the appropriate psi, a bicycle pump, two spare inner tubes, a helmet (and wear it), water to drink, lunch or money for it and a smile. Rain at the start cancels the ride. Pace will be a leisurely 13-14 mph. Approx. 35 miles (roundtrip) Meet 9:30 AM at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park OR 10:20 AM - Manhattan side of Staten Island Ferry OR 10:40 AM - Staten Island side of Staten Island Ferry.
